Hollister Outlet Stores
Hollister Outlet Stores look like beach houses on the outside, and are dimly lit with loud music playing inside them. The stores sell jeans, pants, shorts, skirts, tees, tank tops, shirts, swimwear, and jackets and hoodies. They also sell belts and tote bags as well as perfume.
About Hollister Outlet StoresHollister is owned by Abercrombie and Fitch which owns several different brand lines of apparel. The Hollister brand is geared toward 14-18 year olds with a lower price point than its parent company's apparel line.
The first Hollister Store opened in 2000 in Columbus, Ohio. Hollister clothing is marketed as having a Southern California style. The clothing models are named after California locations, and the girls and guys clothes are known as Bettys and Dudes (respectively).
Although it is rumoured that the brand was established in 1922 (as it also states on the brand's tags) this is pseudo-history and not actually true (sorry to bear the bad news!). Hollister's brand became successful very quickly after its 2000 introduction, however, surpassing its parent company's sales within a short time. Today, Hollister operates over 200 stores all over the world as well as having a limited number of outlet stores.
